A PhD scholarship in Model Driven Software Engineering is available within the Software Systems Engineering (SSE) research group of the University Duisburg-Essen, Germany for the academic year 2013.

PhD scholarship Description

In particular, you will have the following tasks:
  • Performing research in the area of 'Model-Driven Software Engineering'- Application for new research projects.
  • Management of work packages in European and national research projects.
  • Publication of research results at internationally renowned scientific conferences and journals.
  • Support of teaching activities.

PhD scholarship Software Engineering Profile

You have recently received or will receive an excellent PhD degree within the next three months in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, (embedded) Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related area. You are creative, you enjoy working in a team, you are perceptive and you have good communication and analytical skills. It is appealing for you to collaborate with researchers and developers across different disciplines and in international settings. Experiences made in industry as well as in the areas of model-driven software engineering are desired but not a prerequisite.
