The Maastricht University scholarships and grants are aimed for students who wants to pursue master degree in the field of Arts and Humanities, Social sciences, education, management and Law in the Netherlands.
Scholarships for master's students include the UM High Potential Scholarship Programme, UM Company Scholarships, Friends Make the Difference Scholarships and the chance for the top 3% of UM students to study tuition-free. Furthermore, we promote scholarship programmes offered by external institutions and organisations.
Maastricht University Company Scholarships
Maastricht University has several company scholarships available for talented students who want to obtain a master’s degree at Maastricht University. According to the conditions set by the sponsoring company, the scholarships are available for master's programmes starting in September.

Maastricht University High Potential scholarships
Maastricht University aims to further strengthen its position as a leading European university offering high-quality education with an international orientation. To this end, the university implements a pro-active recruitment policy for international students, in particular for the Master’s programmes. Scholarships are made available by the Maastricht University Scholarship Fund in order to encourage talented students from outside the EU/EEA to follow a Master's programme at Maastricht University. One of these scholarships is the Maastricht University High Potential scholarship.
SBE France Scholarship MSc
The School of Business and Economics (SBE) offers one scholarship for its master’s programmes to talented students with a French nationality and the interest to study abroad.
SBE Turkey Scholarship
The School of Business and Economics (SBE) offers one scholarship for its master’s programmes to talented students with a Turkish nationality and the interest to study abroad.
Maastricht University India Scholarships
Scholarship applicants must have obtained excellent results in their previous studies. This must be shown in the application file by including, for example, grade lists or reference letters. In case of equivalent qualification, preference will be given to applications, which show that the applicant is among the top 5%. The India scholarship is awarded for the duration of the Master's programme, with a maximum of 12 months. In case of a two-year Master's programme, the Scholarship Committee will award the scholarship for a maximum of 24 months.
