A PhD position in Plant Physiology/Plant Physiological Ecology is open at Umeå Plant Science Centre, Department of plant Physiology, Umeå University, Sweden.

The PhD student will work within the project ”Thermal acclimation of plant photosynthesis and respiration: impacts on global primary productivity, carbon storage and the future distribution of plant functional groups”.

The student will undertake both laboratory and field studies and receive training an in array of plant physiological, biochemical and molecular methods and in state-of-the-art techniques in the use of stable isotopes in field studies. The student will work in a highly stimulating environment at Umeå Plant Science Centre - a leading research institute in experimental plant biology with a friendly and international atmosphere.
