The DAAD Scholarships are announced every year for International students who wants to pursue undergraduate (BS), postgraduate (MS) and PhD degrees in Germany.
DAAD is an organization jointly founded by the German universities. It is to promote the relations of the German higher education institutions with international universities and arranges exchange programs for academics and students and other international programs and projects.

The Selection Committee for the final decision is appointed by the DAAD Executive Committee on the basis of academic and regional factors. The Selection Committee members review the submitted applications, in general, and then judge
The duration of the funding period will vary depending on the nature of the research (university level study, PhD-project, independent research, etc.). For students and graduates, the allowance varies between € 715 and € 975 per month. The scholarship amount for postdocs in research and teaching positions is € 1,800. to register.
You must either submit your application to the German embassy in your country of origin, or visit DAAD office branches there.

- graduates from all disciplines who want a second Master’s degree or other training
- young academics who wish to pursue a research project in Germany, as part of their doctoral research. Independent research projects carried out a PhD program may be eligible for funding as well.
